Are You Getting Ready For The Holidays?

I don't know if I am getting ready or not as there is so little time to do much of anything. It just seems that the days are getting shorter and shorter. I am doing more research on Vintage Clothing than listing them. I do have so many pretty Holiday Dresses which I need to add to my website Out Of The Attic 2u

I do love the hustle and bustle of shopping but that seems like so many years ago as today its all online so its quiet, no crowds or excitement for me much anymore. I do miss those days but its so convenient to shop online than to go out in the cold and snowy climate (not yet), cold but no snow!

I will give you all a preview of what I have to list (well not all, too many of them) and if you are interested in do email me from my website and I will give you more information on the dress. I hope you enjoy these  Vintage Dresses as much as I do! These are from the 1980's.

My Quest For Clothes

Well I am off to a good start. I added some more clothes to my shop but not all are vintage some are from the 90's and the beginning of the 2000's if thats such a term to use. I have been having fun seeking and finding what I think one would like and that includes shoes, hats and belts.

I bought a few books on the subject but haven't had the time to really read as I am taking pictures, editing them and trying to write something about the piece of clothing, shoe or belt. Yes it does take time since I have a few websites and need to take care of them also.

Here are a few more pics to look at!

Starting Out in Vintage Fashions!

Well I am finally taking the plunge. Been wanting to do it for a long time and that is to sell vintage clothing. I opened a Ruby Plaza Shop and have been adding vintage clothes for the past few months, been a little slow at it as I am finding time to be a problem.

I love vintage clothes whether from the 1700's to the 1900's. I find then romantic, enchanting, lovely and just cute! My growing up years were when I reached 17, so I can say the clothes of the 70's to the 80's were when I appreciated fashion. The 50's and early 60's, my mom dressed me, and not bad at all, she was fashionable and dressed my sister and I on a very tight budget with a lot of hand-me-downs which she altered and made to fit.

I have never lost that concept since today I buy vintage clothing at the thrift stores, auctions and wherever I can find them. I love wearing them and now I love to sell to those who have a desire for vintage clothes.

Since I am a beginner there have been challenges to purchase, many mistakes and probably will be more. I will share some of the clothing I started with, they are cute, different and very wearable!

You can find some of these pictured at my Ruby Plaza Shop here!
